As a business we encourage flexible working. We have a number of different ways to work flexibly, so at your interview feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you. There are no guarantees, however, examples of how our Partners already work flexibly include part-time, job share, home working and compressed hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

Data and how we use it to drive value, is key to The Partnership's vitality. There are many different data sets that we need to use to ensure our business is constantly moving forward and which enables us to provide the best possible service and experience for our customers.

As the Data Steward, you will support your stakeholders and their community, with a focus on gathering knowledge and information around best practices for data stewardship. You will lead on a small domain across the Partnership whilst being responsible for driving data quality improvements and issue resolution within your domain.

Job Requirements

The core part of this role is to provide a positive experience to our customers, through a simpler and secure experience when interacting with the John Lewis Partnership brands. This role requires a keen eye for spotting opportunities for continuous improvement and influencing stakeholders at many levels to deliver these. You must have experience in working in a pressured data-related environment and be able to effectively manage your own time, the workflow of the team and expectations of our customers and external suppliers.

The Partnership's ultimate purpose is the happiness of all its members, through their worthwhile and satisfying employment in a successful business. Because the Partnership is owned in trust for its members, they share the responsibilities of ownership as well as its rewards - profit, knowledge and power.
