Duties & Responsibilities

The Commis operates as a member of the Catering team and must openly demonstrate a passion for food and be motivated to invent, produce and present quality dishes in accordance with the hotel offer.

Job Requirements

The role of Commis Chef involves working under the supervision of the Head/Sous Chef to produce agreed menus to a consistently high standard. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining these standards, controlling stock and minimising wastage.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Experience in a professional kitchen


Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
