What’s the role about?
This is an exciting opportunity to join John Lewis Partnership Financial Services as a Commercial Manager for our Partnership Credit Card proposition.
As a Commercial Manager you will support the delivery and ambitions of the multi-channel commercial strategy, working with Third Party providers and a wide range of stakeholders across the John Lewis partnership. In this role, you will manage elements of the product lifecycle to deliver maximum customer value in line with the strategy and operational plan. You will have the opportunity to create new and exciting propositions at pace ensuring we expedite growth in the market.
What will you be doing?
Leverage insight and internal and external networks to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends, including technological advancements.
Assist in planning, analysing and delivering product developments to maximise value through New Business and In Life activity
Undertake financial analysis and reporting challenging the data where required
Identify and own all opportunities to grow our credit card proposition and bring new ideas
Ensure we meet our commercial objectives and targets
Be accountable for the commercial management and commercial success of our products.

The Partnership supports agile and flexible working practices, such as when, where and how we work. We have several different ways to work flexibly, including part-time, flexible or compressed hours, and job sharing. Head office areas also support a blended working approach and in this role you’ll mainly be home based with typically 1 to 2 days per week in the office. You'll have the opportunity to discuss this further with the hiring manager during your interview and, where it is operationally practicable, they'll do all they can to accommodate your needs.
