Are you an experienced chef? We are ready to welcome a passionate chef for our new Fenny Lock Distribution centre in Milton Keynes. In our Partner Dining Room kitchen, where your culinary skills can be put to use providing high-quality service to our partners. Join our supportive catering team today and enjoy producing fresh, nutritious homemade meals. 

5 days out of 7 / Working Weekends & Bank Holidays 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the partners needs are always met and naturally seeking out opportunities to exceed their expectations.

Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area is maintained to high standards

Supporting  stock control, portion control and food wastage, taking action as necessary to maintain food low costs.

Supporting the Food production team managers with implementation and production of menus, procedures and standards as required

Attending all company training as required for legal purposes, personal development.

Help  development of new menus and dishes.

Complying with the guidelines and practices in respect of food safety as detailed in the Food Safety Management system.

The role requires excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will be naturally helpful, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills.

 Required essential experience skills and qualifications:

  • Food safety level 1,

  • Health & Safety level 1

  • NVQ level 1 and 2

  • Experience of working within a customer service based environment

  • Experience of working within a catering environment

Desirable experience skills and qualifications:

Although not essential, it would be desirable for the candidate to have the following:

  • Food Safety level 2 and 3

  • Health and Safety level 2 and 3
