What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling Phone calls with customers and contractors

  • Raising and issuing external maintenance/SMR supplier order numbers

  • Monitoring the performance of all suppliers  (including in-house workshops) to benchmark costs and service levels)

  • Maximising warranty claims

  • Undertaking tasks and projects as directed by Bracknell VMU DM &SM

  • Ensuring the parts, oils and consumable stock levels are maintained.

  • Checking, ordering and receiving stock and parts as required.

  • Maintaining fleet compliance files (manual and / or digital) in line with O licence obligations and partnership policy.

  • Maintaining fleet maintenance history on the fleet management system, to include scanning in and transferring of supporting documentation

  • Ordering, distributing and monitoring uniform, PPE, stationary and any other basic items of equipment

What you'll need:

  • Good Telephone Manner

  • Email Writing

  • Good Customer Service skills  

  • Telephone call handling

  • Contractor handling

  • Fleet management System

  • Parts management

  • Commercial fleet administration

What else you may bring: 

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Knowledge of Parts and Ordering

Duties and Responsibilities

To support the JLP Commercial Vehicle Fleet (van and Truck)  in line with Central Transport maintenance strategy.  To ensure parts stock availability and levels are maintained, ensure the timely booking of in house and 3rd party fleet maintenance and repair and to update the Fleet Maintenance system with all relevant information.
