💚Our Installation specialists are the face of the John Lewis & Partners brand. When you join the team as a Customer Delivery Hub Installer, you will deliver and install a wide variety of products to our customers, always with professional courtesy and outstanding service.💚

At a glance:

  • Hours: 41 hours per week

Our Installers work 4 days out of 6 (Monday - Saturday) which means you’ll enjoy 3 days off each week to maintain a healthy work/life balance. We also offer overtime when required so there’s potential to top up your earnings.

About the role:

Our Installation specialists are the face of the John Lewis & Partners brand. For over 100 years we have worked hard to create an enviable reputation that we can all be proud of. You’ll maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations, out on the road and in our customers’ homes.

As a John Lewis & Partners Customer Delivery Driver Installer your typical day may involve:

  • Our installers have a lot of autonomy: Using your local knowledge to plan your schedule for the day

  • Handling a complex installation in a customer home

  • Taking part in a Forum to help shape the future direction of your department

  • To land this role as a Customer Delivery Driver Installer you’ll need a valid UK C1 Driving Licence with no more than 6 points, valid DCPC and valid Tachograph Card.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications:

  • The ability to cope with the physical requirements of the role.

  • Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.

  • Strong communication skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.

Desirable experience skills and qualifications:

  • Installation and disconnection of white goods.

  • TV installations

  • Assembly of flat pack
