What will you be doing?
Works alongside the Director Global Sourcing to interpret and operationalise the Partnership’s strategic plan for their directorate
Act as an advisor and sounding board to the Director of Global Sourcing, providing thought partnership and constructive challenge when necessary
Initiate and lead priority projects on behalf of the Director of Global Sourcing
Manage a large number of internal and external stakeholders
Drive the direction and effectiveness of the Director’s meetings
Build an extensive network across the Partnership, maintaining excellent relationships with members of the Director’s team
Handle confidential information in an appropriate way, always maintaining complete discretion.
What you'll have:
Experience of succeeding in a role which has equipped you with a broad understanding of the workings of the Partnership.
Strong written, communication and influencing skills.
Experience of dealing with complexity
Experience of cross-functional working.
What else could you bring?
Experience working in Global sourcing
Strong experience of managing operational activity and / or overseeing change programmes

What’s the role about?
You will act as the right hand to the Director of Global Sourcing and will support them in fulfilling their personal accountabilities & responsibilities. You will orchestrate activity on their behalf, act as an advisor and sounding board to them providing strategy and constructive challenge when necessary.
The successful candidate requires a thorough understanding of the business, strong professional relationships with senior management, broad networks throughout the Partnership, and strong interpersonal skills to help facilitate discussions, support informed decision making, and ensure the follow through of implementation and actions.
You will be accountable for ensuring prioritised change lands in the Global Sourcing Directorate.
In this role, you will be required to occasionally work flexibly with your hours to allow you to communicate with our international Stakeholders.
