The role will be based in Bracknell, with occasional travel to Victoria, London.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Sourcing Manager in our Procurement team, you will be delivering high volume, risk and complex sourcing activities from across all Divisions, whilst meeting responsiveness and quality service levels.

Job Requirements

Duties will include the management of suppliers, including negotiation and communication where required, developing relationships and ensuring that service and contractual terms are appropriate. Daily responsibilities will include performing operational sourcing activities, including tenders, eSourcing, eAuction, negotiations, Quick Quotes, and implementing contracts, ensuring maximum value, speed and compliance. You will ensure a timely handover of sourcing output and recommendations, building strong relationships with your stakeholders.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proactive project management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience of stakeholder management
- Strong commercial, analytical and supplier negotiation skills
- Experience working with supply contracts eg standard T&Cs, clauses and SLA/KPI creations
- Strong understanding of sourcing, supplier management and sourcing processes and policies
- Experience of working in a high paced sourcing environment, evidenced by experience of delivering to tight timelines

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

- CIPS qualifications (achieved or working towards)
- Experience working across a variety of spend categories
- Line management and leadership skills
- Experience of eSourcing technologies
