Duties & Responsibilities

The new Waitrose Design Centre of Excellence has been created to deliver a world-class expression of the brand across the entire Waitrose customer journey.
The centre is responsible for setting the vision and visual direction for the company, as well as creating and commissioning design from both internal and external teams and agencies. It will also advise and collaborate with colleagues across the Partnership to ensure a consistent delivery of the design vision.

Job Requirements

The Asset Manager role works as part of the Design Centre of Excellence, planning, maintaining and developing an archive of image, video and all content appropriate to be used/reused is consistent with the brand standard guidelines.
You will be working to support the Design team with the interpretation of the vision and direction of the Waitrose brand across multiple channels.
Your role will be working with the Customer Directorate teams and the wider business and will be the key contact for assets and asset management.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

A Levels, degree or creative/marketing related apprenticeship qualification.
Proven experience working in a fast-paced magazine publishing, agency, internal agency or marketing environment.
Strong time management skills and comfortable meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent planning ability.
Able to work to tight deadlines.
Able to organise workload to meet conflicting priorities.
Relationship & Influencing - Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasive communicator.
Negotiation skills - confident negotiating at all levels.
Proficient in Google Docs, MS Office,
Adobe Creative Suite - Mac and PC

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

Asset management experience.
