What’s the role about?

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Content & Design Team as an experienced Artworker for John Lewis & Partners. As an Artworker, you will be expected to manage the delivery of artwork into omni-channel formats, ensuring high standards are met at all times. As a highly organised individual, you will have the ability to work across a variety of projects at the same time, both independently and as part of a team, to deliver flawless artwork in a time-sensitive environment. Along with an excellent eye in attention to detail, typographical and colour expertise and an in-depth understanding of materiality and formats. 

The right candidate for this role will be a confident and enthusiastic team player, with a flexible can-do attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. An excellent communicator with a great work ethic, and a brilliant eye for layout and typography is also a must.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for managing a high volume of projects and deliverable's simultaneously

  • Keeping relevant stakeholders up to date and keeping to critical paths

  • Ensuring accurate press and digital-ready artwork for channels is completed within agreed SLA’s and adherence to brand guidelines and templates

  • Continually improve the standards of delivery to support our creative strategy and be exploring innovative new ways to deliver our creative output

  • Delivering high standards of artwork output across different channels and formats

  • Continually looking to improve the standards of delivery to support our creative strategy and be exploring innovative new ways to deliver our creative output

 

What you'll have:

  • Experienced in setting up artwork for different substrates (e.g. litho, vinyl, digital or large format)

  • Experienced in creating press, omni-channel and digital- ready artwork.

  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. 

  • Knowledge of essential digital and social media platforms.

  • Experience of fashion, home and lifestyle industries  

  • Working within a creative team, either in-house or agency
