What will you be doing?
You will support the Senior Team Lead, to ensure all creative output is on-brand, in line with creative guidelines and delivers the John Lewis & Partners point of view on current, industry, art directional and styling trends.
Through demonstrating a deep understanding of trend and industry best practice, you will deliver exceptional photography and motion, either in a studio or on location, with on-brand model casting, location sourcing and a modern contemporary approach to style.
Work to agreed budgets and production processes to ensure the creative outcomes are inline with stakeholder expectations and agreed deliverables.
Using the latest customer insight and data you will concept and deliver creative image and motion content that supports the creative strategy, resulting in engaging and relevant omni-channel customer experiences.
You will work closely with the Marketing, Production, Creative and Editorial and Buying and Product Design Teams, to deliver end to end project completion within required SLA’s.
What you'll have:
Experience in Art Direction in the homeware and/or lifestyle industries
Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a creative vision and conceptual ideas
Effective and proactive stakeholder management - you will be a great team player who can work well with different stakeholders and areas of the business
Excellent attention to detail without forgetting to see the bigger picture
Significant experience in directing photography and video, commissioning external talent and casting agencies
What else could you bring?
Understanding of brand strategy, marketing communications and omni-channel experience
Experience of creating content for social and editorial platforms
Experience of working with high profile brands and within guidelines
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Understanding of video editing is a plus

We are looking for an Art Director (Home) who has the passion and experience to work on a wide scope of areas, from ecom product photography to marketing campaigns, on location or in a studio.
As an Art Director, you will be able to deliver exceptional concepts in response to creative and commercial briefs for John Lewis & Partners. Working alongside the Art Direction Manager (Home) and as part of the wider Art Direction Team and Content Production, you will be mood boarding for photo and video shoots, select talent and lead shoot briefings, direct art in set and deliver the final imagery by working with the Post Production Team within agreed SLA’s.
