Yet regardless of whether you’re already a senior manager in food retail or someone used to managing large teams in another sector – probably in a customer-facing business – you’ll begin your journey with us on our established Management Training Programme.

That’s why as well as proven operational and commercial abilities, we look for considerable experience of managing sizeable teams in a complex arena. Educated to degree level, you must bring the potential to quickly achieve Branch Manager level or higher on this fast-track programme.
The amount of time spent training can vary, as you’ll undertake a comprehensive yet tailored programme individually designed around your existing skills and experiences.
This will include store-based training and regular off-the-job programmes covering everything from detailed technical needs to personal development. External courses include:
- Duty Manager Training
- Security Training
- Managing Performance
- Appraisal Training
- Personnel Training
