Partner Profile

Sales Assistant Audio & TV, Decorative Accessories and Sports

I joined the Partnership when I was a student because they offered me flexibility with my working hours, plus there were a lot of attractive benefits which I’d heard about from people I knew already working in the branch.

The training I’ve received is regular, comprehensive and highly informative; it has enabled me to work in all areas of the department with confidence offering expertise.

The Partnership is different because there’s a genuine sense of team spirit, with everyone working together towards the same goal. We have a say in how the business is run and are always kept informed as to any changes within the business and the reasons behind them – which you’re free to question. Partners are always helping each other out and really care about the business.

I have worked in Partnership with my colleagues to help solve what could have become a significant customer issue. I liaised with delivery crews to re-arrange a delivery time convenient to the customer, ensuring their expectations were met and that they would come back again.

My proudest moment at the Partnership was when I had the opportunity to work in the Call Centre for Children In Need, helping to raise more than £200,000 on the phones in one evening.

The best part of my job is satisfying customer needs, providing them with expert knowledge and helping them to choose the right product for them.

The personal qualities you need to fit in are flexibility, friendliness and a real team spirit.
