Section Manager
If you’re already an inspiring and capable manager of people, with proven commercial achievements in your career so far, you could join us a Section Manager Trainee.
Our Section Managers are responsible for the entire running of a section of a Waitrose supermarket, from leading the team to ordering stock, creating displays and delivering the very best in customer service.
As well as your practical retailing skills, you’ll be open, approachable and always supportive of others. You take pride in setting the very highest standards of performance, both for yourself and for your team. You have sound problem-solving skills and the tenacity to ensure that targets are met. The ability to communicate effectively with your team and customers alike is a given.
With ambition and ability to match, your prospects for promotion beyond this level are excellent.
Assistant Section Manager
As an experienced supervisor of people in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment, you could be ideally equipped to join Waitrose as an Assistant Section Manager.
Supporting your Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of a whole section of a Waitrose supermarket, you’ll have a hands-on approach, taking real pride in ensuring that your team delivers the highest standards of presentation and customer service.
You’ll be an expert when it comes to prioritising the daily workload, and demonstrate the drive and determination to get the job done while showing respect for the contribution of your team.
