Option 3

Option Answers

Option 1

Good answer! As a Merchandising Administrator, a key part of the role involves analysing sales figures and other data relating to the products they work with. We believe however, that as well as this, having a passion for the product is what differentiates a great from an average Merchandising Administrator.

Score: 2

Option 2

Yes! This is a quality that we feel is essential for being a great Merchandising Administrator. The role predominantly involves administrative duties such as providing administrative support to Merchandisers, using the merchandising IT systems to manage stock, liaising with suppliers and generally ensuring that the office runs smoothly. Despite this, we believe that understanding and being passionate about the product is what differentiates a great from an average Merchandising Administrator.

Score: 3

Option 3

This is certainly a quality that we look for in our Partners and we welcome their ideas and suggestions for improvements. However, there is limited scope for Merchandising Administrators to use their creativity in their daily tasks. The role predominantly involves administrative duties such as providing administrative support to Merchandisers, using the merchandising IT systems to manage stock, liaising with suppliers and generally ensuring that the office runs smoothly. Therefore, we believe that an analytical mind and being passionate about the product is more important for this role than being creative. There is more scope to use your creativity in the Buying Administrator role. If you are looking for a role which enables you to demonstrate your creativity, then you may be more suited to being a Buying Administrator.
