New John Lewis at home to open in Swindon and Tunbridge Wells
John Lewis announced it will open a further two 'at home' shops in the autumn of 2010, located in Swindon and Tunbridge Wells. John Lewis at home will provide a boost for local employment with the creation of around 350 new jobs across Swindon and Tunbridge Wells.
John Lewis at home focuses exclusively on furniture, furnishing accessories, electrical and home technology in a relaxed and inspiring environment. John Lewis at home combines the best of the home and electrical home technology assortment in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Customer access terminals in the branch will allow shoppers to browse the John Lewis assortment including fashion, beauty, nursery, carpets and order for home delivery or collection at the shop. The shop will also feature a café.

John Lewis at home to open on Purley Way, Croydon
We have recently announced the opening of our second new format shop, John Lewis at home, on Purley Way, boosting local employment with the creation of around 220 new jobs. The ‘at home’ format focuses exclusively on furniture, furnishing accessories, electrical and home technology and we plan to open the Croydon shop during the autumn.
The Croydon branch will span 52,000 sq ft and is a third of a size of a typical John Lewis department store. John Lewis at home combines the best of the home and electrical home technology assortment in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Customer access terminals in the branch will allow shoppers to browse the John Lewis assortment including fashion, beauty, nursery, carpets and order for home delivery or collection at the shop. The shop will also feature a café.
