Merchandising
Many of our customers don’t realise the huge amount of thought and strategic planning that goes into the laying out of the goods in our Waitrose and John Lewis stores. Put simply, ‘what goes where’ is the key responsibility of our Merchandising teams.
Waitrose
Micro Space Managers and Planogram and Ranging Managers are the key figures within our Merchandising team, which is based in the Waitrose Commercial Directorate.
These are the people responsible for the commercial effectiveness of the layout of products in our food shops. Of course, most of all they are committed to ensuring our customers have easy access to every item they need.
John Lewis
With stores stretching from Aberdeen to Cardiff, John Lewis is a hugely successful £multi-million business. It is the task of our Merchandising team to secure and manage stock while keeping a careful eye on budgets to help deliver our profit.
