Waitrose Bracknell
Our 72-acre site in Bracknell employs 2,000 Partners and is at the hub of a wide range of services that support selling operations in our Waitrose food shops. This means managing the supply chain for a huge volume of produce on a non-stop cycle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
More than half the people who work at our Bracknell headquarters are involved in Distribution. The site is one of the largest Regional Distribution Centres in the UK, with an average weekly throughput in excess of 1.5 million cases of products and serving about 55% of our branches. We also have an extensive Buying operation here and many other functions that are essential to running a chain of food shops.
