The John Lewis Partnership is one of the biggest retailers in Britain. It has 26 department stores, and 184 Waitrose food shops, as well as other interests including textile production units and a farm – all producing a combined annual turnover of over £5.7billion.

The Partnership’s head offices supports, co-ordinates and develops this extensive operation. Our London head offices are responsible for the corporate organisation (the Partnership as a whole) and the John Lewis division. Our head offices at Bracknell focus on Waitrose food shops.

Head offices make sure that the widest range of goods are cost-effectively sourced and distributed to our stores. They manage our financial infrastructure. They house an HR function capable of looking after the needs of 64,000 Partners. They do all this and more.
