Buyers are responsible for sourcing and managing their own assortments. It’s their job to liaise with merchandising, distribution and our branches to develop new areas while maximising our existing product offer.
Merchandisers not only design the layout of the products on our shelves, but they have to adapt these to the ambience of individual branches. They help to design new fixtures for our products when we open a new branch, as well as ensuring that the overall layout is in line with our plans. Merchandisers also use their information analysis and communication skills to analyse sales performance and offer potential solutions.
