Our new store in Leicester

John Lewis Leicester is scheduled to open in September 2008 and will be the principal anchor store for Highcross Leicester. We will have a 220,000 sq ft, full range, multi-million pound department store with a spectacular glass frontage that is based on a historic fabric design from our archives providing views over the city.

We are looking for up to 600 people to join us in a variety of roles, these include everything from managers, catering assistants and chefs to supply chain assistants, administrators and systems support technicians. Not forgetting of course, selling assistants who can help us maintain the exemplary customer service which helped us gain two retail sector awards in 2007 - Britain’s Favourite Retailer 2007 from Which Magazine, and Retailer of the Year from Retail week Magazine.
